This story is about a brother and a sister and their adventures over a lost pair of shoes. Ali takes his little sister Zahra's shoes to the shoemaker to be repaired, but loses them on the way home because it was taken by unknown person. Zahra very angry to Ali because loses her shoe but Ali want Zahra to keep the secret from their parents, knowing that there is no money to buy a replacement pair and afraid that they will be punished by their parents. So they decided to share the Ali’s shoe. Zahra will wear them to school in the morning and hand them off to Ali at midday so he can attend afternoon classes. This situation makes their days to days very hard. Zahra will rush on the last school because she thinking of her brother who need shoe to go to school. It is happened to Ali also. He always comes late to school. After third time he was late to school head of the school expelled him from that school. Luckily his teacher tells to the head of the school that Ali is a good student and he canceled to expel Ali. One day Zahra sees the shoes on a schoolmate's feet, and follows her home, but the two soon become friends. Ali’s school has opened a chance to students who want to participate in children’s footrace. Ali was interested with the prize. The third place will receive a pair of shoe. Ali hopes that he will win the third prize and he promised to his sister that he will give the prize to Zahra. Accidentally on the race day he won a first place and he get the other prize. He was really disappointed because he cannot fulfill his promise to Zahra. At last of the story shown that their father was buy a new pair of shoes to Zahra and Ali.
